Guidelines
Only polite, leashed dogs welcome; no retractable leashes. Dogs must be current on all necessary vaccinations No dogs in heat permitted.

My Best Friend Parade of Awards
Enter and win, categories galore (best trick, worst trick, best smile, look alike, best singing dog and many more)

Keepsake Photos
Select from different dress-up items and props and let your dog and/or the entire family be photographed - Holiday Themed $5.00 donation

Barks & Crafts
Make a bandana or memento for your pet with paint, stamps, and more. $2.00 donation

Pawsasso
Bring out the budding artist in your dog, who will paint a masterpiece with paws and tail to put on your refrigerator with other family art. $2.00 donation

Duck Dive/Tennis Ball Dive
Have your dog grab a duck/ball in the tub and win a prize corresponding to a number on the duck/ball. $2.00 donation

Finders Keepers Treasure Hunt
Bring your dog into the treasure yard and remove the leash. Treats and toys are hidden, to be found and taken home. $2.00 donation

The Tricky Dog Auction (all day)
Choose your prize and deposit a ticket to enter

Chairs and dog beds to relax with your pooch in the shade and listen to music from the Pawpaw stage

Canine Cabañas
Pet sitting for your dog while you visit the Pawpaw Festival (no dogs allowed in the main venue) with dog beds and toys staffed by FOSD volunteers for a nominal donation.

Tina Romine of T.R.E.E.S. LLC - Canine Acupressure and Massage.
11 a.m.
Athens County Sheriff’s Deputies John Morris and Matt May with their dogs Esko and Turner, will demonstrate narcotics sniff, article search and apprehension.
12 p.m.
Wayne and Rachel Boyd from Sheep Valley Farms – Sheep herding with Border Collie River
1 p.m.
Dr. Carol Osborne from Briarhill Veterinary Clinic with D.A.R.T. - an information session on disaster preparedness.
2 p.m.
Athens County Sheriff’s Deputies John Morris and Matt May with their dogs, Esko and Turner, will demonstrate narcotics sniff, article search and apprehension.
3 p.m.
JoAnna Sidote - Agility, tricks and the use of clicker training with her dog Echo.
4 p.m.
